In this series we will explore some simple things we can do, every day, to make the world a better place. Join us and add your ideas.
This Sunday (Feb 5) we will gather as a whole congregation to worship and fellowship together as we celebrate our community values. There will be Common Table music, Choir music, kid’s music, teaching preaching, prayers and more! It’ll be great. Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
Immediately after worship on Sunday we will head downstairs to Fellowship Hall for lunch and our annual meeting. Join us to discuss finances as well as the future, mission and values of the church. Sunday at 12 noon in Fellowship Hall.
Love is the probably the most powerful thing we as humans encounter in our lives. It is powerful because it comes from the very heart of God. All of creation and every single one of us is created and sustained through and by the love of God. When we love we are tapping into the very heart of God. No wonder it knocks us off our feet!
We will be talking about love the first three Sundays of November. Join us at 11.

Grace is a very simple idea with a very powerful message.
To put it simply, grace means that you and i (just as we are, right now, without doing anything or changing anything about ourselves, no matter our past or our church attendance or our belief systems, or whatever) you and I are OK with God.
We and God are good.
We don’t have to achieve anything to be good with God, or do anything, or believe anything specific, or change ourselves to fit in. We don’t have to be accepted by any other person or institution. No matter what the world tells us about ourselves, you and i are OK with God.
That’s it. that’s grace. simple as that.
it’s that simple, and it’s that powerful.
In fact, it is, i think, the most powerful idea the world has ever seen.
