Kids are a big part of what we do at Common Table, and all ages are welcome to join us in worship. In addition, though, we have a wonderful Children’s Sunday School program that runs at the same time as Common Table worship. Children’s Sunday School begins at 11 and runs through the Common Table worship service.
The following is a list of our Sunday School classes:
Children ages 0 – 3 are welcome to come down to our nursery. Young children will spend time in a safe secure environment with paid, trained nursery workers. All workers have had thorough background checks and follow “Safe Sanctuary” protocols. The nursery is available during Sunday School and Worship and during certain events.
Children ages 4 – 8 are invited into our elementary classroom where a professional educator and some wonderful volunteers will lead them in learning Bible stories, exploring their feelings, praying, meditating, crafts and snacks. All this happens in a classroom that has been constructed to look like a 1st century home in Jerusalem!
The Way of the Child
The Way of the Child helps children, ages 8 – 10, develop an intimate, personal relationship with God, providing an opportunity for them to experience and practice spiritual disciplines that can nurture that relationship for a lifetime.
You can learn more about the Way of the Child curriculum here.
Youth (9:30 – 10:30)
Youth are especially invited to participate in worship. They tend to really like it! Therefore, our Youth Sunday School classes run from 9:30 – 10:30. To learn more about other youth activities join the youth Facebook page or email our youth leader Julia Mueller.
