After shared services for Holy Week, we return to Fellowship Hall this Sunday for our own worship service. The sermon for this Sunday’s Common Table service is “Open-Hearted Mercy” by Common Table member Rhiannon Tibbetts. Describing the sermon, she says “Jesus offers us an openhearted mercy of salvation and compassion. During his ministry, he showed his radical love to tax collectors, Roman soldiers, prostitutes, lepers, Samaritans, common thieves, and everyday men, women and children. I want to share how Jesus’s mercy of acceptance has profoundly impacted my life and how he offers this understanding compassion and forgiveness to anyone who would accept it.” The sermon texts are Matthew 11:4-5 and Luke 23:39-43
Sunday at 11 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Join the conversation.
